The Marwin Group owned 34 CiCi’s Pizza restaurants that were ravaged by Hurricane Ike, which roared ashore in Galveston, Texas, in September 2008. The group’s owners were frustrated with submitting a complex business interruption insurance claim, because there was no one to guide them through the process.
With all of the locations out of commission, the impact on revenue was immediate and severe. Different locations were covered under different policies, and deductibles, wait times, and exclusions varied from store to store. The insured didn’t know where to start, but they ultimately had a great finish.
We have a fantastic reference letter related to this project. We’d love to share it with you.
